In our walk with the Lord, we have experimented great blessings. I was born in the missionary field in the state of Ohio, in the city of Fremont. Then, my parents moved to establish the work of God in Puerto Rico and later in the Dominican Republic, returning to California, USA, at the age of 18, when I was ordained to the ministry.

I assisted my parents, who were pastoring this church, in everything possible, and attended the National Bible College. I was set apart for the ministry in 1991, in Riverside, California. This same year, I got married to my wife Priscilla. Two years later, our first son, John Almaraz II, was born and that same year, we left to the missionary field in the Dominican Republic where we stayed for 10 years and 6 months. Upon our return from the missionary field, in the year 2005, God gave us the opportunity and privilege of receiving this beautiful church and here we are to continue to serve the King and blessed congregation with my loving wife and children John, Jairo, and Joy Mia.

Presently, I am attending the Fuller Theology Seminar toward a master’s in leadership with the desire to serve better.
